Everyone is very friendly and the food is very good; we will gladly return. The Cheddar sauce is truly delicious. Thank you for the recommendation.

A little disappointed today, as either their suppliers have changed or they're using lower quality ones (especially the sausages! They were nothing like the ones I used to order). But the owner is really very friendly and pleasant, the setting is lovely, and the fries are delicious 😛. Keep up the good work ☺️

Great chip shop, and the food is especially good. A bit pricey though, but when you want quality, you have to be willing to pay the price. The fries are amazing!!! 😃

Personalized service by the manager, attentive like you've never experienced elsewhere, very quick, polite, being very picky about fries (we are in the north after all!) it was excellent.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic experience at Grain de Sel chip shop in Valenciennes! 🤩 We had the American-style chicken steak, generously topped with crudités 🥬🍅🥕 — a real treat, hearty and delicious! 😋 It's so nice to find a traditional chip shop like we love them ❤️ with a bar and a beer tap 🍺 to go with it all! Friendly atmosphere guaranteed 👌 We'll definitely be back! 🔥

26/09/2026: A fantastic experience from start to finish! Everything went perfectly, the welcome was very warm, the service impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend it. 👌🍽️

24/09/2026: Without a doubt, the best crêperie! Pure buckwheat galettes. "Kraz" just like in Brittany. Delicious cider with top-notch salted caramel.
21/09/2026: The restaurant recently changed ownership. The staff is pleasant and smiling, but the food has changed... the portions are smaller, and the salad—excuse me, but you can't really call it a salad... bagged iceberg lettuce, two tomato slices, two slices of prosciutto, and two slices of goat cheese... for €13.90. Needless to say, we were left wanting more. We used to love this place, but unfortunately, we won't be returning. The quality and quantity are no longer there, in my opinion. Best of luck to you all, though.
