Honestly, I came with my girlfriend tonight. We didn't know this city, we just stopped by on a whim. If I can give you one piece of advice, it's don't hesitate to go! We were received absolutely fantasticly, and kudos to the chef! Everything was perfect for a reasonable price, but it was well worth it. We went home having had an excellent evening. We'll be back before we leave. Thank you!

The service was rather slow, and smiles were scarce... The cheese selection turned into salad and cold cuts; if they don't have any left or only have a little, I think they should let you know, and that's what we decided on. The salad came with whole leaves; I don't understand why it's so hard to cut them a little. The seafood platter itself wasn't anything to write home about either, but we chose the wine well.

Hotel Restaurant Lons

29/05/2026: We visited Hotel Lons for two nights as part of a visit to the cave of Niaux and Foix castle. The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to reserve a taxi and make dinner reservations. The hotel is very well-located walking distance from the train station and is in an area with many restaurants, shops, and attractions that are within walking distance as well. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the patio overlooking the river is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee or drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lons and hope to make a return visit next summer to see the sights that we missed this time.
26/05/2026: We were a group of nine at the end of our trek on the Cathar Trail. After covering 220 km, what a pleasure it was to find ourselves in this charming hotel, with its lovely rooms, wonderful welcome, and helpful staff. Truly a great place to stay in the heart of Foix.

15/07/2026: Always a pleasure to eat here, there's something for everyone: meat and fish grilled over a wood fire, pizzas, etc... mmm... 🤤 And the terrace under the plane trees is fantastic! 😃 Friendly and welcoming service
17/06/2026: A real pizzeria, a super welcome, and excellent tomato sauce, all cooked in a wood-fired oven! A must-try pizzeria in the city of Foix.
