Always a pleasure to eat here, there's something for everyone: meat and fish grilled over a wood fire, pizzas, etc... mmm... 🤤 And the terrace under the plane trees is fantastic! 😃 Friendly and welcoming service

I've noticed there are always some dissatisfied customers in the reviews, but I've been going to this restaurant since it opened over 15 years ago, I'd say, and frankly, I enjoy it every time. I've never been disappointed. The owner is lovely, and the service is generally very good! The restaurant is also recommended by the tourist office. In short, nothing to complain about, only good things to say! Thank you, owner!

We received excellent service, everyone was very friendly and even though we didn't speak French, we were able to understand each other and they were patient with us. The food was delicious and plentiful.

The pizzas are excellent and the owner is very respectful and helpful. However, the hygiene leaves much to be desired: a cockroach fell into the water. Furthermore, the owner's attire—covered in flour and without an apron—is inappropriate for a restaurant. It's a shame because the service is good.

Hotel Restaurant Lons

29/05/2026: We visited Hotel Lons for two nights as part of a visit to the cave of Niaux and Foix castle. The staff, especially Mr Chaubert, were very kind in assisting to reserve a taxi and make dinner reservations. The hotel is very well-located walking distance from the train station and is in an area with many restaurants, shops, and attractions that are within walking distance as well. The rooms are comfortable and pretty. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the patio overlooking the river is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee or drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Lons and hope to make a return visit next summer to see the sights that we missed this time.
26/05/2026: We were a group of nine at the end of our trek on the Cathar Trail. After covering 220 km, what a pleasure it was to find ourselves in this charming hotel, with its lovely rooms, wonderful welcome, and helpful staff. Truly a great place to stay in the heart of Foix.
