We had lunch in this restaurant this afternoon with colleagues.
We honestly didn't know what to expect but ultimately we found a very nice place.
Very welcoming, the restaurant manager is friendly and warm and takes the time to explain to customers the specificities of each dish.
We took a starter called “Chouba”.
It's a kind of beet salad with carrots, potatoes, a homemade mayonnaise type sauce and smoked herring.
Not usually liking Herring, in this salad it was simply delicious!
For the main course we each had something different, I personally opted for the "Pelmeni", a kind of Slavic ravioli with pork and chicken inside, all accompanied by a salad of raw vegetables.
Again there was no shortage of it, a real treat.
The portions are very good, the dishes nicely presented and the manager explained to us that certain dishes are limited due to the fact that certain ingredients were finished the day before and that she would go and buy new ones, thus letting us understand that the ingredients are fresh, which is reassuring for the customer.
To conclude, it is a cuisine that changes and is not very expensive (count around twenty euros for a starter + main course + drink menu at lunchtime).
I highly recommend!
