We were lured in by the good reviews 🫣 But the food was only average. Large portions, sure 💪 but that's about it. A shame ☹️

Always a real pleasure!!! The sauerkraut for two is gargantuan! The gewurztraminer is divine, except when the waiter spills it on me!!! But that's quickly forgotten thanks to the other food on offer.

A wonderful experience at Le Rouge d’Ottrot! The service is truly excellent: friendly, welcoming, and efficient servers. The buffet offers a wide selection, with something for everyone, and the sauerkraut is simply delicious, generous, and flavorful. A major plus: the establishment is dog-friendly, which is a real bonus. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed in Ottrott and therefore visited the Winstub Rouge d'Ottrott, as it was nearby. We were absolutely not disappointed. The decor is traditional and rather rustic – but perfectly suited to a wine tavern. The menu offers good salads, the obligatory tarte flambée, and also meat dishes, for example. The raw vegetable salads were very well dressed, and the tarte flambée was also excellent. The prices were reasonable.
We would have loved to go again, but on Saturday evening, the restaurant was already fully booked when it opened – so it's advisable to reserve in advance for the weekend.

We came from far away to eat sauerkraut at this restaurant again, and we'll definitely be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed it, even though we couldn't finish everything. The terrace is very pleasant, and we really liked the warm decor inside the first time. The service is efficient and always with a smile. Yum!

A very pleasant time on the terrace, lovely setting. Quick and efficient welcome and service. Generous and delicious dishes, especially the ham hock, which was very tender.
We recommend this restaurant.
Tarte flambée is only available in the evening.
