We wanted to have dinner quite early, but we hadn't made a reservation. The restaurant accommodated us anyway. The food, consisting of typical regional dishes, was very good and the portions were generous.
The waitress was very friendly despite the stress of the service (the restaurant was full and she was the only one managing the service – kudos to her for not panicking and staying cheerful).
Since it was full, it was rather noisy. But the atmosphere was pleasant. A restaurant I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful evening with friends at Le Vieux Comtois. The food was generous and well-presented, and the service was excellent, with pleasant and smiling waitresses. We will be back!

We sat in a vaulted cellar and ate locally produced food. Morbiflette, a cheese, potato and ham dish.
Choucroute, sauerkraut with potatoes and various sausage.
The red wine was local too.

An unusual place, with a rather old building with very pleasant exposed stone walls, the sauerkraut was delicious with quality products where you can tell it's artisanal, an exceptional Mont d'Or cheese with quality charcuterie, I highly recommend it if you want to eat good quality and local products.

We thoroughly enjoyed the regional specialties! A generous platter of Franche-Comté sausage and Cancoillotte cheese, followed by a morel and Morbier cheese gratin! Yum! A very friendly waitress. A lovely evening.
