Restaurant Jadis sur Besancon

A wonderful time at Jadis for our wedding. The restaurant/terrace was privately booked for 34 guests plus a DJ. The team at Jadis was fantastic, with Sandra and Thomas at the helm. Thomas in the kitchen – everything was delicious – Sandra was attentive to every detail (decor, food, logistics...) and Julien in the dining room was responsive and attentive. Efficient and friendly. We recommend it 100%!

A truly wonderful discovery thanks to our friend Anna, a regular here. First, the warm welcome, then the understated yet bright setting, with touches of vintage charm like the copper pots and the two-pan scale… And then the menu: a good selection, but not overwhelming, and each dish makes you think. I had the vegetarian burger with Morbier cheese, pickles, and red cabbage, served with fries, while the others opted for either the hake fillet or the Comté cheese platter. Some had the chocolate parfait with apricot ice cream and apricot coulis, while others enjoyed the apricot and pistachio sponge cake with vanilla ice cream… and above all, everything was homemade! I won't even mention the slightly chilled Beaumes de Venise, perfect for this heatwave. Thank you to the waiter for his kindness, advice, and patience. See you soon with our friend Aurélien. Incredible restaurant where everything is homemade. From the food and service to the ambiance and decor, it's impeccable! A major plus is the children's menu, a welcome change from the usual frozen food and sodas!
