During a weekend in Besançon, we discovered this bistronomic restaurant serving dishes with truly original flavors and expertly prepared. So much so that, despite not being particularly fond of sweets, we couldn't resist trying the desserts, which were also quite surprising.
The service is attentive, and the setting is chic and refined. A great find in the heart of Besançon.

Excellent value for money, delicious flavors for a very tasty dish. Warm atmosphere, no pressure, attentive staff, no pressure to buy wine, and always a smile.

A very beautiful and cozy restaurant in an old palace in the city center, with a quiet terrace. Friendly staff and fair prices considering what's offered. The dinner we enjoyed here was the best we've had so far during our vacation. The lukewarm mackerel on pea purée with strawberries, the ris de veaux with porcini mushrooms, and the pink-roasted, melt-in-your-mouth cannette were simply outstanding! The same goes for the Bleu de Bresse with pears for dessert; we'll definitely be back!

I've eaten at Le Cercle restaurant several times now. It's always a delight. There's a real sense of artistry in the combination of flavors. They make an effort to use high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful experience at Le Cercle, with attentive service and creative suggestions in the kitchen. The watermelon was a delightful surprise, and the sweetbreads were perfectly executed. The fish and tomato dishes were less to our liking, but the offerings were there. The reimagined lemon tart was a delight. Thank you.
