We took our chances, despite the somewhat negative reviews, and we were right!
We chose the traditional menu and were very satisfied.
Appetizer, main course, cheese, and dessert for €29 seems appropriate for the area (coming from Bidart).
When in the area, we'll definitely be back.

Simple and very good food. We chose the Basque platter (piperade, Momo, Basque sausage, and fries) and found it really delicious. The owner and servers are very friendly. We ate inside as there was no more room on the terrace, but we appreciated the coolness of the place on this sweltering day.

Hello,
After our hike on the Hawthorn Trail, we felt like we'd melted so much we must have been invisible when we arrived.
