A lovely, very quiet terrace, perhaps a little too quiet for the staff's liking at the start of the season. The excellent Basque menu at €29 should quickly make up for it.

What a great idea to have ordered the typical set menu: piperade, achoa, sheep's cheese with cherry jam, and Basque cake. A real treat, very well cooked, and generous portions. A pleasant and peaceful setting. The staff were very welcoming. We were there as a family and will gladly return.

The servers were very friendly, the burger was excellent with its fries, and the little jar of Espelette pepper really added something special. Okay, €8 for cheese was a bit pricey, but otherwise, it was great.

13/05/2026: A wonderful stay at this family-run hotel, in a setting that is equally charming. The staff were incredibly attentive and the services were of very high quality. The gourmet dinner with wine pairing was excellent. We will be back!

04/07/2026: We had a wonderful time together, discovering purely local products: homemade tortilla, Basque black pudding from Martin, and a truly delicious sausage and chorizo. The ham and smoked cheese were simply amazing! And all this with exceptional, attentive service from people who love to share their passion and are passionate about their work. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Ainhoa.
