Auberge de Bionnassay sur Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains

This is the mountain house on TMB Road. The dormitories of this shelter are on the second floor, which is very special. First of all, the doors on the first and second floors are horizontal. The dormitories are all made of wood, with bunk beds. There are about 20 beds in total. To get to the upper bunk bed, you have to move the stairs yourself, which is full of childlike fun. It's also a bit thrilling. This former barn converted shelter is very special. I was bitten by bed bugs when I slept without my own sleeping bag due to the heat, but I still appreciate this special shelter. The toilets and bathrooms are very small. The first floor is the restaurant, which also has a nostalgic design. I have several rabbits. Dinner was not to my taste, both dishes had millet and tasted a bit horrible, but there are many non-residents who come to eat in this restaurant. I suggest this shelter treat our hikers well and cook delicious dinners. Breakfast is very ordinary, takeaway meals are good.

I had the opportunity to dine at the inn this Saturday during a visit to friends in Les Contas... what a surprise, a very friendly welcome and above all good seasonal cuisine I highly recommend this warm atmosphere

A place not to be missed if you are looking for peace and quiet. And the excitement

This review is for the restaurant. Stopped in while hiking the TMB. Service was not friendly at all. The lady at the counter seemed annoyed that we were ordering. We only drank- while sitting on the patio she turned multiple people away despite the place being empty. They were also declined food due to them having future reservations. We were here at noon so it wasn’t like they were closed. I don’t think there are any other food options in the area so I guess stop in if you have to- but there are other places before it and after. One of my French speaking friends went to cash out with her- and he said she was friendlier to him. Maybe try speaking French if you can for better service.

Simple and friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff. Hearty dishes. We had a great time after a beautiful hike.

Joli endroit authentique, bonne restauration

Miejsce znajduje się na trasie TMB. Jest tam bardzo ładny widok. Można tam zjeść i wypić w trakcie trekkingu. Za jedno piwo i gorącą czekoladę (czekolada mogłaby być bardziej gęsta i cieplejsza) zapłaciliśmy około 10 euro.

Au pied du Mt Blanc, auberge fleurie propose des plats excellents, cuisinés à la demande.

Qui pourrait croire qu'une auberge se trouve ici... Avec une vue imprenable...Un accueil très agréable et alors les plats que nous avons déguster juste sublime en bouche 👄 Un marbré savoyard...A déguster avec lenteur tant le plat est bon et copieux (pour nous) Et un plat du jour (Suprêmes de poulet fermier citronnée) j'en ai encore l'eau à la bouche. Suivi pour monsieur d'une généreuse part de tarte aux mirtylles.... Et pour moi même une part de Charlotte au chocolat 🍫. Alors non je n'est pas pris les desserts en photos 📷 A vous d'aller à la découverte de cette auberge au milieu d'un petit hameau... Et si le cœur ❤️ vous en dit vous pourrez éventuellement faire une petite sieste digestive sur les transat à disposition... A l'auberge de bionnassay merci pour votre accueil... Lydia

Personnel extra et super sympa. On y a super bien mangé et l'ambiance est géniale.
