❤️❤️❤️ We visited Carcassonne and its castle for the second time and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was packed inside and out, so the food must have been good. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. We ordered vegetable soup, lamb chops with potatoes and vegetables, and a nice salad. 🥗 The food was beautifully prepared and quite tasty. 😋 I definitely recommend this place. Excellent traditional restaurant. The food is homemade and high quality, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommended if you're visiting Carcassonne.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, with smiling and welcoming staff. The value for money is excellent, especially compared to nearby restaurants which are often more expensive for lower quality. Of all the cassoulets I tasted during my holiday in Carcassonne, this one was clearly the best. The food is truly excellent. It's a shame the restaurant was closed the next day; otherwise, we would have gone back without hesitation.

Excellent experience for a surprise birthday! We organized a surprise birthday party at this restaurant. The owner kindly agreed to open especially for us, even though the establishment was supposed to be closed. A very appreciated gesture. The service was impeccable and attentive. We were able to use a private room upstairs. The menu was of very high quality, featuring excellent foie gras and a remarkable, generous, and flavorful homemade cassoulet. They also offered good local wines. The prices are quite reasonable considering the location in the heart of the medieval city. Good value for money in this area. Highly recommended for its traditional cuisine and warm welcome.

Simply amazing! We ate there today, January 17th, 2026. First of all, we had our dog with us and they didn't give us any trouble bringing her inside. We ordered the €27 set menu; both the goat cheese and the burrata were incredible. Then came the casserole... absolutely delicious, an exquisite flavor, the meat practically melted in your mouth. For dessert, we had a huge bowl of ice cream and a crème brûlée, just as good as all the other dishes. We loved it, and if we return, this will definitely be our place again. I must say the service was also top-notch. Thank you!!

Delicious food, excellent value for money, and best of all, I enjoyed the meal with my whole family, including my dog. A 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful time! The meal was excellent, with one set menu at €19.50 and another at €27. The staff were very friendly. As I have gestational diabetes, I asked for a few changes, and the kitchen staff were happy to offer solutions. We'll definitely remember this place if we come back. Thank you so much!

I'll start by saying that I didn't eat here, but just had a snack. The atmosphere was welcoming, I had a drink, 2 hot chocolates and ate a chocolate waffle (an excellent portion and very good), everything was fine.
