The welcome was cold; our plates were cleared away almost as soon as we finished, and the next course was brought to us. Very disappointed with the service; no smiles, it felt like we just had to eat quickly so they could close up.

"AUBERGE DE LA REINE DE SICILE" IN SAUMUR Excellent gourmet restaurant with very good value for money. Warm welcome, attentive, smiling, and quick service. Cozy atmosphere. We dined there two nights in a row, and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the staff who took such good care of us throughout dinner and who offered us a glass of sparkling wine at the end of the meal on the second night. We will definitely return on a future trip to Saumur. Tip: In good weather, you can sit outside on a charming little terrace.

A lovely restaurant, food was excellent as was the service, not cheap but not expensive either, at the time of writing lunch menu 3 courses 33 € and 2 courses 26 € .

08/06/2026: You can go there without hesitation! The welcome is very warm, and the managers and all the staff are incredibly kind 😉. We were a group of 15 people, and we were all delighted with the food. The dishes were beautifully presented, generous portions, and delicious. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
