Aux Gouters Champetres sur Chantilly

A very good taste experience: it's the best strawberry tart I've eaten so far, and the whipped cream was delicious too; it's worth the price.

We came to try the Chantilly cream with strawberries. We loved it.

We come every year and are always well served, but this year the service was catastrophic! Waiters in tracksuits and caps (by the way, great recruitment, even if they are trainees) were playing around with water pistols during service, and a waitress was throwing water bottles around. Sure, it was incredibly hot, but the least they could do is apologize when they splash customers, right? Well, nothing at all. These people should take a leaf out of the book of the lady with the dark glasses and the curvy blonde who come every year and do a fantastic job!

We stopped at the Château de Chantilly. We had strawberries with whipped cream – delicious! The setting is superb. We'll definitely be back.

I came mainly to try the famous whipped cream, and I wasn't disappointed in that regard. However, the presentation needs improvement! What a letdown! Strawberries on a plate, carelessly arranged with a ladleful of whipped cream, which thankfully was very good, because its presentation also left much to be desired! One expects a minimum level of quality when coming for lunch or even afternoon tea in a place like this. But the staff were very friendly and smiling. 👌

My experience at Aux Goûters Champêtres restaurant was quite satisfactory; the location within the Chantilly estate contributes to the rustic charm of the place. I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the long wait (peak lunchtime) and the slow service, however, the staff remained very friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is absolutely worth the wait; the ingredients are fresh. We ordered the Caesar salad, the foie gras platter, and the croque-monsieur. The salad was excellent and generous, and the foie gras was delicious with a beautifully presented plate. A very good place! 👍

Beautiful setting (castle grounds). The dining room is rather basic. Attentive service. The food is good but not exceptional. A bit pricey.

A delightful lunch in the shade of the trees in this magical spot in the heart of the Chantilly castle grounds. The menu was simple but delicious, and most importantly, the dessert was authentic Chantilly cream. Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly. Go without hesitation!

A warm welcome from the staff and young Lola who is just starting out, we are a small group of cyclists and we like to make a little detour with our bikes as we do every year to eat in this magnificent setting, nothing to complain about either, the different dishes were all excellent, see you very soon.

The setting is truly idyllic and very pleasant, and the menu is enticing. Unfortunately, the experience is marred by particularly high prices, which give the unpleasant feeling of being ripped off (€17.50 for a plate of three scoops of ice cream with a few strawberries). It's a shame, as it partially spoils the experience. Furthermore, the service could be improved: one of the waitresses was unfriendly, and the overall organization lacked fluidity, which exacerbated the negative impression. This is all the more regrettable given the establishment's real potential. A price adjustment, especially for desserts, along with attention to the quality of service, would undoubtedly allow them to offer an experience worthy of the location.
