After a morning visiting the Château de Chantilly, we chose to eat at L’Etrier where we had a lovely time. The avocado and shrimp tartare salad was excellent. The servers were friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. A great break.

A quick break for Viennese hot chocolate and Viennese coffee during a motorcycle ride. A very warm and extremely friendly welcome. A short but very pleasant moment (and close to the castle).

Returning to this brasserie after some time away, I was once again pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the owners and the excellent value for money. The dish of the day (prawn risotto) for €11.90 was superb.
