The service needs improvement. It wasn't very busy and the wait was far too long. Customers who arrived after us were served before us. The menu wasn't complete. The portions weren't generous. Some items on the menu were even missing from the plates.

31/08/2026: We weren't able to get the tender flank steak and unlimited fries for only €13.90. It feels like false advertising. The online reservation had been accepted, however, upon arriving at the restaurant, the waitress explained that she had accepted our reservation for the flank steak, but that they didn't actually serve it. We had to choose something else, and we didn't receive a word of apology, nothing at all! We could have had unlimited fries, but no, that would have been a gesture of goodwill towards the customers. I'm disappointed by this way of operating at Hippopotamus.
30/08/2026: The food was excellent, the service impeccable, very satisfied.

26/08/2026: Great service, friendly, with a big smile and efficiency - typical french breakfast, freshly squeezed OJ
09/08/2026: I had dinner with a friend on Wednesday evening. We received a warm welcome and were given helpful information about the menu, which isn't huge, but that's definitely a good thing... The food was good, both in quality and quantity, and the music was great too. In short, a good place to remember, especially if you live only 150 meters away! 😅🤗
