Le Temps d'M sur Thonon-Les-Bains

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was very pleasant and attentive. The house cocktail was exquisite, the steak tartare excellent, and the meat was perfect. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Thank you for this lovely experience. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

I never knew tartare could be this delicious. It was mixed with roasted nuts and leeks, and I enjoyed it with fried onions and balsamic vinegar. The scattered leeks added a vibrant touch and were just the right amount to enhance the flavor of the tartare. The taste and texture were similar to negitoro (minced tuna with green onions) sushi. Is this amount typical for tartare at a French restaurant? Perhaps because I savored it slowly, I felt a sense of relief, like I could eat and eat but still wanted more. I was happy to fill up on tartare. The mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and sauces, the foie gras appetizer, the main fish dish, and the Friday-only hamburger were all incredibly delicious.

We ate there as a couple on a friend's recommendation and we thank him for it. The menu is of very high quality and the prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of the food and service! We're only in the area for four days, but we'll be back on our next trip to Savoy.

A festive evening in Thonon with music and various stalls. On Friday, July 17, 2026, we had dinner at Le Temps d’M. We happened to be passing by, and this restaurant caught our eye. Lovely decor, just the way I like it. From the moment we arrived on the terrace, we received a very warm welcome from Mathilde. She told us the wonderful story of their restaurant. It's been open for 11 years. The dishes are entirely homemade and delicious. An excellent place to eat in Thonon.

Delicious meal, perfect service, I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant located in the heart of Thonon-les-Bains. Upon arrival, we were immediately taken care of and seated without delay, as our reservation had been properly recorded. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal: the dishes were flavorful, refined, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere on the quiet terrace, right in the city center, was particularly pleasant and contributed to our excellent experience. One small drawback, however: my partner's dish was perhaps a little too generous. Furthermore, while the ham in the salad was excellent, we felt there was a bit too much of it, which slightly threw off the overall balance. Finally, we would have appreciated it if one of the two after-dinner drinks had been complimentary. This would have been a very thoughtful touch. Aside from these minor details, the service was impeccable and the overall experience very positive. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The kind of restaurant you want to come back to! Reservation for Monday lunch for two. We were greeted with a smile and given excellent advice! The lunch menu is perfect for sampling a wide variety of dishes, and we weren't disappointed. The flavors, textures, everything was perfect, right down to dessert—we thoroughly enjoyed it!
