Lucky to get the last table. Great staff. We shared the cerviche to start that was light and fresh. Mains of lamb chops and bavette with chips and tasty sauces were really nice. The only one negative was that the high chairs were really uncomfortable after a little while.

Very nice discovery! The welcome is perfect. Smiling and attentive. The bistro atmosphere is very warm. And we recommend the porcini mushroom sauce, a treat. All dishes were delicious. We recommend this beautiful address.

Great bistro in Saumur located in Place Saint-Pierre by the Eglise Saint-Pierre and below the Chateau. Plenty of tables outside for people watching and to enjoy the timbered structure opposite and the church which is magnificent. We enjoyed a lovely plat de jour with local wine, the staff were very friendly and endured our attempts to parlais franglais with good humour. Definitely recommended - only lost 1-star for Atmosphere because of the cars allowed through the Place Saint-Pierre which I personally found annoying.

Restaurant that we highly recommend. The young waiter and waitress were perfect and the dishes were delicious. You have understood everything the customer expects: fresh, HOMEMADE and a smile. Thank you for this good time

A Saturday in the middle of the market. Lots of people, and us with 2 babies and 2 strollers. A perfect welcoming, smiling and attentive. Quick cooking (with babies it's more than pleasant) and good as well as hearty. I highly recommend this restaurant. I would return there with my family after the market with great pleasure. Looking forward to seeing you again and thank you again. Flora.

Great place to have dinner. Loved the atmosphere. Friendly service and even better food. Don’t miss out on the Duck Breast with sweet potatoes mash in fig sauce. It’s to die for!

30/11/2024: Reservation made months ago for 8 people, 7 p.m. Shift to 7:30 p.m. thereafter. 2 friends had a car problem and we were very late getting there (in fact, they weren't allowed to eat) Waitress on our backs all evening, because a reservation for 9 p.m. on our table was made. Definitely wanted to know when our friends were arriving because wouldn't have time to eat. Oppressive and stressful throughout the meal Ended up removing the table of 2 that remained at our table, because judging that my friends would not have time to eat Very disappointed with the welcome, I will not return to this restaurant because of the waitress. Otherwise very good meal and quality price

15/09/2024: The best pancakes we've had in a long time. Everything was perfect, the welcome, the service and the pancakes of course, copious, well prepared, a treat 😋😋we will come back during our next visit to Saumur.
