You can go there without hesitation! We had a fantastic time thanks to Eric and his team (Mathieu, Florian, Charly, and Léo!): the food was delicious and the service very friendly!
We'll definitely be back if we return to the area (by bike!).

When you come to Saumur, book a table at Les Tontons restaurant on Place Saint Pierre. The staff is impeccable, and the management is even better during busy periods. The quality of the food is top-notch; everything is homemade, and they have a nice wine selection. They also support local businesses. It's a friendly restaurant.

What more can I say? Having booked a large table in advance, the communication was perfect.
The welcome was warm and friendly, the tables were simple but the food was simply incredible. The presentation was a feast for the senses, the cuisine was gourmet and elegant. Not a single dish disappointed us; everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A truly wonderful restaurant on the market square in Saumur.
I highly recommend it, and if we return to Saumur, we will definitely go back to this restaurant.
