A truly welcoming place! A dynamic and friendly team, full of lighthearted humor. The food? Excellent, with a high-quality menu. The atmosphere? Lively, right in the heart of a vibrant square! You can go there without hesitation! We had a fantastic time thanks to Eric and his team (Mathieu, Florian, Charly, and Léo!): the food was delicious and the service very friendly! We'll definitely be back if we return to the area (by bike!).

When you come to Saumur, book a table at Les Tontons restaurant on Place Saint Pierre. The staff is impeccable, and the management is even better during busy periods. The quality of the food is top-notch; everything is homemade, and they have a nice wine selection. They also support local businesses. It's a friendly restaurant.

Fantastic! What more can I say? Having booked a large table in advance, the communication was perfect. The welcome was warm and friendly, the tables were simple but the food was simply incredible. The presentation was a feast for the senses, the cuisine was gourmet and elegant. Not a single dish disappointed us; everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A truly wonderful restaurant on the market square in Saumur. I highly recommend it, and if we return to Saumur, we will definitely go back to this restaurant.

Le Pot de Lapin

11/05/2026: We ate there the weekend of May 9th. It's a very good restaurant, a little outside the city center, on a quiet street, but it offers excellent cuisine, delicious dishes made with quality local ingredients. I absolutely loved the chocolate baba with rum—that's an understatement! It was an amazing combination, with a coffee cream that perfectly balanced the rum's bitterness. The service and cleanliness were impeccable.
08/05/2026: We stopped by last night and had a lovely time. From the appetizer to the dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Special mention goes to the cod, which was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables, which were crisp and delicious. We will gladly return.
