Brasserie d'Orleans sur Pau

I had heard many compliments about the Brasserie d'Orléans from colleagues. We had lunch there with other colleagues, and I must say that my impression has been mixed ever since. I ordered beef tartare with homemade fries. The tartare was very sinewy and served flattened across the entire plate, without any shape. In fact, I practically had to put half of it aside because of the sinew. It was very vinegary and spicy. The homemade fries were delicious, as was the homemade sauce. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was absolutely divine, and the coffee was also very high quality. The champagne was served in a tiny glass, which was a bit surprising at first. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient in serving us and relaying any issues (with the tartare) to the chef.

This restaurant truly demonstrates that French cuisine is an art. If you want your taste buds to explode, don't hesitate to visit this establishment. A delight! Both the owner and his staff will take care of you with simplicity and professionalism. Absolutely fantastic! And above all, thank you for the wonderful meal! 🙏🙏

Small, very pleasant place with super friendly service. They have an à la carte menu and two set menus (one for €24.50 and another for €31) that include a starter, main course, and dessert. All the food is delicious, with a modern touch but tons of flavor. 100% recommended.

A view into the kitchens… the atmosphere is set! A sharp-eyed waitress, attentive and caring! A real pleasure! We were hesitating over desserts, but no problem, we got our desserts and, as a bonus, a sample of the chocolate mousse that had been tempting us! A real gem! The feedback from the other diners was immediate… a pleased chef who appreciates the compliments! Now, let's talk about the food! Quality local products, generous and flavorful cuisine. A mayonnaise so good you could take some home in a doggy bag! A sirloin steak so tender you could cut it with a fork, a peppercorn sauce that delighted my taste buds! As you can see… we were won over! You've just gained two loyal customers! Congratulations to you both! And thank you!
