Restaurant Bistro D'Edgar sur Bourg-En-Bresse

We had a very good meal with the family; the dishes were high quality and plentiful.

A wonderful discovery in Bourg-en-Bresse: "La Maison des Jacobins!" This restaurant is ideally located and boasts a superb outdoor terrace, pleasantly shaded by parasols, with a charming fountain in the square and the gentle sound of flowing water. The welcome is warm and friendly. All the servers are very attentive, kind, and caring. I was accompanied by someone with reduced mobility, and there were no access problems whatsoever, whether in an electric or manual wheelchair. As for the food, it was a real treat! My colleague opted for the Bresse chicken with morel sauce and new potatoes, while I chose the dish of the day, a heart-shaped meat dish – "EXCELLENT!" I highly recommend La Maison des Jacobins, both for the quality of its menu and, above all, for the kindness and attentiveness of the entire team. 👏😊

While passing through Bourg-en-Bresse, we stumbled upon this ideally located restaurant. Excellent value for money, generous and delicious dishes, and a friendly and dynamic team. I highly recommend it!
