We were right to book, even at the last minute, at this brasserie open on a Sunday evening, given the number of people turned away after 8 pm. A very pleasant spot on the large, tree-shaded terrace, with beautiful interior decor that is both elegant and cheerful. The service was friendly and efficient. The brasserie dishes were delicious. The meats were of high quality, and both the meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The chicken supreme with wine and morel sauce was delicious. The portions were generous. A great find.

Very well served, the waitresses and waiters very attentive. With a very good offer of products and dishes from the territory. Very good and special wines from the region. Before ordering the chosen wine they let us taste it, to make sure we liked it. A very nice detail.

A pleasant surprise. We ate excellently, a fantastic tartare and an equally delicious dessert. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. The prices were good and the quality was excellent. Highly recommended.

The Green Man

03/08/2026: I'm sorry to only give the food 2 out of 5, even though it's a very pleasant place and the service is attentive. I ordered a rare flank steak, and it arrived completely white, not seared (it's unbelievable that supposedly professional chefs can't serve rare meat but seared), and tough. It tasted good, but if it had been cooked properly, I think it would have been a very good cut of meat. But I'll try it again.
15/04/2026: A very warm welcome; it's truly a pleasant place to be in this restaurant. All the dishes are homemade. One of the best places I ate during my stay in Besançon. Thank you!
