It took me a while to get into the place because I thought it had a strong, pretentious vibe, like a high-class establishment with fancy shoes. BUT NO! It's a wonderful, authentic brasserie where everyone is welcomed efficiently and warmly by a team entirely dedicated to ensuring your lunch runs smoothly. Note: the daily special for only €12 is always excellent. Have a good afternoon.

We had a fantastic lunch today! There were two couples with children, and the servers were incredibly accommodating to our pace. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, which were of excellent quality. Homemade food is becoming rare, but it really shows! 🫶🏻

A very warm welcome and an excellent meal! Aged Baltic Black beef. The owner is lovely, with a rare sense of hospitality and the food was superb! I highly recommend it.

Fantastic brasserie! The very friendly waiter found us a table outside even though it was packed and we hadn't made a reservation. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Besançon for the weekend.

06/03/2026: Everything would be fine if the advertised amenities were provided; there was no shower gel or soap in the containers hanging on the wall! So, be prepared like I was, and you'll be able to wash... Otherwise, the room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the welcome very friendly.
04/03/2026: The hotel was perfect in every way; I had a very good night's sleep. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and quiet.

02/04/2026: My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant; the meal was delicious, and the chef took the time to greet us. The waitress was very welcoming. Excellent time, excellent meal 👍 Don't walk past Besançon's oldest restaurant without stopping in 😋
