My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant; the meal was delicious, and the chef took the time to greet us. The waitress was very welcoming. Excellent time, excellent meal 👍 Don't walk past Besançon's oldest restaurant without stopping in 😋

We had a wonderful meal! Beef cheek lasagna and andouillette sausage. The owner is very friendly. Absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend it.

01/03/2026: A break for tea, coffee, or fresh fruit/vegetable juice was definitely in order! I had the "bon teint" carrot, ginger, and apple juice: excellent. My friend had the "bon bon" – delicious. The cakes were generous and very tasty: carrot cake and crumble! Offering a carafe of water would have been a nice touch.

Brasserie Granvelle

13/04/2026: Fantastic brasserie! The very friendly waiter found us a table outside even though it was packed and we hadn't made a reservation. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Besançon for the weekend.
06/04/2026: Friendly and ideally located on the beautiful Place Granvelle, this simple and pleasant brasserie offers excellent value for money. A must-visit in Besançon.
