I do not recommend this brasserie. Poor value for money. Disgusting fries, and incredibly, one table was refused a order and they served us again 😪.

We were a group of 12, and the restaurant was very accommodating in ensuring we had a wonderful time. A big thank you for their warm welcome! The waiter was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, which added a touch of cheer to our evening. The dishes were delicious and very flavorful – everyone was delighted with their choice. In short, we had a fantastic evening at this restaurant, and we will gladly return! Thanks again to the whole team.

We just had lunch at this restaurant and it was very good, as usual. The waiters were very friendly and the food was excellent. I recommend the "Bresse du Roi" rosé... absolutely delicious!

02/03/2026: Located very close to the Château, we chose this restaurant for a quiet evening and we weren't disappointed. We had a very good meal. We ordered the duck breast and chocolate profiteroles for dessert; it was really delicious and well-prepared. The service was friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated how quiet the restaurant was, perfect for a relaxed conversation without any background noise. A great place to eat in Amboise. Remember to book ahead to be sure of getting a table.

08/12/2025: The L’Alliance restaurant in Amboise, slightly out of the way, offers truly excellent, flavorful, and well-prepared cuisine that is definitely worth the detour. The service is adequate, if not exceptional, and the somewhat underwhelming setting doesn't quite do justice to the quality of the food. A great place to eat well, despite an atmosphere that could be improved.
24/11/2025: The food was very good. But the portions weren't generous enough for my husband considering the price. The service was impeccable, but perhaps they could be less reserved and more welcoming. The decor was understated; it could be warmer, and the furniture was comfortable. It's a shame there were no petits fours or butter to accompany the bread (which, by the way, deserves to be of a higher quality for a restaurant like this).
