Here's my review of this restaurant; we had a wonderful evening.
The gazpacho was excellent, I have no other words to describe it, the salmon steak was equally impressive, and the dessert had original flavors.
The entire team at L'Hippeau was fantastic, well done to you all, it was a great time.
Bonus mention to DJ Amplitude x Nico Sax for the atmosphere and their talent. I highly recommend it.

I was very surprised to read some of the comments, as we had a wonderful evening with a DJ and a saxophonist, all in a very pleasant setting. The service was efficient and professional; we hardly had to wait for our food. The dishes were high quality and served in generous portions. We have absolutely no complaints about this lovely brasserie. All the best.

It's a unique, magical, peaceful place!
Superb terrace, great air conditioning, quality food, and very reasonable prices.
Of all the restaurants in Amboise, it's my favorite!
And the cherry on top: having lunch next to a real Calder sculpture is exceptional.

We had a lovely family meal. They serve good simple French food priced accordingly. The service was very friendly and a lovely courtyard setting. We will definitely return.

We've had lunch at Brasserie Hippeau several times. And more recently, we organized a group dinner for about 20 people.
We had a fantastic evening! As usual, the servers were welcoming and the food was excellent. We've stopped by every time we're in Amboise and we'll definitely be back!
