I've never seen such a great restaurant! Everything is so well thought out! The dining room and terrace downstairs are just as lovely upstairs. You have a view into the kitchen, which is spotless, and the chef clearly takes his job seriously, preparing generous and delicious dishes. 👌 The servers are also very friendly and not pushy at all. The restrooms are very clean and accessible for everyone, which is a real plus.

After a breakdown on our bikes, we arrived in Amboise a little late for dinner. At 'La Terrasse', instead of the usual 'sorry, we're closed, we're not serving anymore', we were greeted with cold platters, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. It was fantastic. And everything was served with great kindness. We had been to Amboise before and had fond memories; now, thanks to La Terrasse, those memories are excellent.

Great food with great service in a very nice quiet outdoor setting. They also have a large indoor seating area and a covered terrace. Very intimate.

A very pleasant time on the shaded terrace. The tables are spaced far enough apart to offer privacy. Excellent local salad and very good ice cream.

Patisserie Bigot

31/08/2026: High-quality products: a real treat!
30/08/2026: A benchmark of sweetness, a must-try in Touraine, and extraordinary specialties, notably the royal pavé which I recommend to gourmets and epicureans.
