Brasserie Le Carnot sur Beaune

My wife, our eldest son, and I dined at this restaurant on February 21st and 28th: ​​A warm welcome, quick and efficient service, good food including the unmissable beef bourguignon served in a generous portion, good value for money. Xavier Derville.

Warm welcome and delicious food

The meal was excellent, but unfortunately, I was seated opposite the bar and could hear the staff chatting and even criticizing the customers sitting on the terrace... it wasn't very pleasant for lunch... I just wanted to leave... I usually would have left a tip!

We had a lovely time on the terrace (and the sun was shining too!). Efficient service and good food! I recommend it for an aperitif or lunch.

Visited on a wet Thursday evening in February when the atmosphere was never going to be great. However, the food was superb and the service was friendly and attentive.

A great brasserie with friendly service even during peak hours and delicious food. Especially the shallot tart with horseradish whipped cream: superb!

A brief evening visit to Beaune followed by a family dinner at Brasserie Carnot. A pleasant setting and a warm welcome. The dishes we ordered were very well prepared: snails, onion soup, beef bourguignon, and duck breast, all cooked to perfection. A minor point, however, was the duck breast, which could have used a slightly richer sauce. A brasserie we highly recommend.

We received a very warm welcome on a Sunday evening without a reservation. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is quick and attentive.

I and my wife had lunch to try their Boeuf Bourguign and escargot. We ordered the set menu with appetizers/salad, main course and desserts. Their tiramisu was good and I paired it with an Americano coffee. My wife was very satisfied. Service was very fast and happy with staff. They were smiling and greeted upon entering the resto up to the time we left. Toilet was very clean and had hand soap and tissue paper. Actually, we were hoping to have lunch at another restaurant but was closed and tried another resto nearby but they require prior reservation. So I guess, we were really meant to have lunch at Le Carnot and we were never disappointed. Merci Beaucoup!
