The staff were attentive and very pleasant. We were a group of 15, so a reservation was necessary. The welcome was perfect, the salads were generous and very good, the dessert was okay, and the price was reasonable.
I recommend it.

As we arrived for a light lunch we bought a couple of sharing dishes, they were all great, the ham with parsley the outstanding dish, a proper thick meaty garlicky terrine, perfect with a pickled cornicon and hunk of bread.

We were looking for lunch at a time of day when many restaurants are closed (around 2pm) and we stumbled across Brasserie Le Carnot. The server and bartender (Janice and Sandiye) were so exceptionally kind and communicative. We got a great table (air conditioned), ate delicious food (we ordered the tomato salad with burrata, a pinza, and the carpaccio) and they even provided us with ice for our water. It totally hit the spot with a bottle of crémant and we came out of the brasserie totally revitalized and with new friends! Thank you again for such wonderful, delicious, and thoughtful service :) the music was very fun as well (a lot of quiet but cool euro house remixes)

At 3 pm, most restaurants weren't serving food, so we were sent to Carnot from another bar. They had a great selection on the menu, delicious wine, a quiet location in the pedestrian zone, and friendly staff who could also help in English if our French ran out. Our food was excellent: a perfect lasagna and the Caesar salad with incredibly delicious, fresh anchovy fillets.
