A bistro with good food which, however, does not surprise. My dessert was tasteless. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with the wine list.

The waiters and waitresses were top notch. No waiting time. We went there for dinner and for 4:00 p.m. The only small problem, a little noisy when there are people (the neighboring table consisted of 10 English people)

We go there two to three times a year each time we go to Burgundy. This evening we came across a table without any embarrassment, who spoke very loudly without worrying about the other customers. No intervention from managers to stop this commotion

A warm goat cheese salad with a few crumbs of gizzard… but where is the gizzard? A salad with gizzard means a salad with real pieces of gizzard please. A great frustration with the impression that the kitchen saved as much as possible on the main ingredient of this dish… The 2nd main ingredient being goat cheese, this was served well. The rest of the salad was just fine.

Another lovely meal at the Carnot. Not silly artistic food, good food reasonably priced with good wine and beer. All served by 2 lovely young and attentive people. Been before and will go again. Thank you. Went back this week, it is so special to be remembered and warmly welcomed. Had different choiceson the menu and unsurprisingly they were delicious. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Brasserie Le Carnot exceeded our expectations with their delicious beef bourguignon, which was absolutely outstanding! The escargots and Caesar salad were also top-notch. The service was quick, friendly, and set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. We stumbled upon this gem by chance and couldn't be happier. What's more, the prices are very reasonable and lower compared to other restaurants in the area. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic French cuisine without breaking the bank!

Le Carmin

04/04/2024: Best meal in a long time. A magnificent setting, perfect service and exceptional cuisine where you have the impression that whatever you eat will be sublime. thanks again We will come back
28/03/2024: We expect more from a star. We had lunch yesterday at Carmin following a “4-course formula, drinks included” gift. The PLUS: the wines were magnificent, we were able to choose them (3 different wines) according to our tastes and by following the advice of the sommelier passionate about his profession, thank you to him, a superb taste experience within Burgundy wines. CONS: the dishes were good but without any real originality, the rice served with the fish was too dry, the cheeses lacked flavor. The presentation of the dishes was very succinct, and non-existent for dessert (Paris Brest placed on the table as in any restaurant). And finally: 2 tables were occupied, 1 table for 8 people. and 1 table of 2 (ours), at the end of the meal the chef came to greet and exchange with the 8 people right next to us then left without speaking to us a single word: this is possible at the station brasserie, but unthinkable in a starred restaurant.
