I chose the menu du jour and very much enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Much better than other more expensive meals I have had on this trip!

We called on a Sunday at 10:30 am to reserve a table for 10 people for the same day. We received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent. The establishment was clean.
The prices are a bit high, but the quality and quantity of the food are definitely there.

Exceptional is too little. I'm not talking about the prompt service, nor its location in the heart of the city, nor the diversity of the menu. I'm talking primarily about the quality of the cuisine. I, who am a great and consistent pork lover, can say that I have never eaten anything that resembles « pork feather »

We settled down on the outdoor terrace at La Carnot for lunch.
Nice spot in the center of Beaune, a terrace that attracts a lot of attention from the shoppers.
Extensive menu with plenty of choice. We had a pizza, 2 salads, and a burger. It was all fine, well-seasoned, generous portions, and fresh.
The wine list is also very extensive with a wide variety ranging from expensive to affordable.

We had a wonderful time with fantastic, friendly, and smiling servers who had a great sense of humor. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I recommend it 200% if you can find a table. No wonder, they're the best.
