A great place for lunch during a weekend in the charming little town of Montreuil-sur-Mer. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The menu is varied. Special mention to our waiter who was incredibly kind and affectionate with our dog.

Good brasserie, the staff are very friendly. I had a Flemish carbonnade, the meat was very good and very tender, the only slight drawback was that I found it a little too sweet.

The service and main course were fine. However, the dessert (chocolate mousse) was inedible, with a floury texture. The waiter admitted there had been a mistake in the recipe. And yet we were still charged for it; the only gesture was a small scoop of ice cream for our daughter. Considering the price, it's unacceptable...

We had lunch at this restaurant and had a great time. We were well served and ate very well for a very good price (15 to 18 euros per person for a starter-main course or main course-dessert menu). I highly recommend it!

Les Hauts de Montreuil

18/02/2026: The managers and staff were very welcoming. The hotel is very cute and charming, having retained its old-world character. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. The restaurant alone deserves at least one Michelin star. The cuisine is delicious, with excellent sauces and jus. The dishes are as beautiful as they are tasty. In short, we had a wonderful time.
