A waiter with curly hair and an earring was very unpleasant and spoke rudely to the customers; a waitress even announced that they stopped serving coffee at 6 PM. I'm not quite sure what to think of this place.

A pleasant, air-conditioned restaurant in a great location in the city center. The staff is really very friendly. The dining room is spacious for those who prefer to eat on the terrace. The portions are generous, and the fries have a little something extra 😉. As for the 4 stars instead of 5…it's because of the dessert. I'm well aware that mistakes happen, that an oversight can occur. But from the menu, I chose the seasonal fruit soup with almond tuile sorbet and whipped cream. I was served a strawberry soup that unfortunately wasn't fresh enough, with a scoop of sorbet. It was good, but there was no sign of whipped cream or almond tuile. When I asked, they brought me a small bowl with slivered almonds. I expressed my surprise, and the waitress replied, "That's what we serve here…" End of discussion. One piece of advice regarding this very good dessert: correct the menu. In its "bar" function, it's also very good, with a nice atmosphere and pleasant background music.

Not all superheroes wear capes! Super François, the manager, waiter, dishwasher, and cook, gave us the warmest welcome. We were amazed by his incredible efficiency and kindness! The food was absolutely delicious, plentiful, and high quality, served in record time! Super François is so fast that he even had time to play some tunes during the concert he organized (which was absolutely amazing, by the way!). But that's nothing! His real superpower was getting my wife to stop complaining for 15 minutes while she ate her burger. So now I'm hesitant to bring it home. I hope she doesn't get a headache this time!

The food is very good and the staff is super friendly. We've been there several times and have never been disappointed! Thank you to the whole team for their warm welcome and good humor! A small update on July 14, 2026, because I like to mention both the good and the bad... Tonight, we were told there would be a wait, and I have no problem with that. However, having to ask three times for the sauce on my daughter's flank steak, which is listed on the menu, not having bread with my roasted Camembert despite multiple requests (even though it's also listed on the menu), and having vinaigrette in my salad when I asked for it without, and when I pointed it out, they told me they didn't have time to change it. All this without any compensation at the register. In short, while it used to be one of my favorite restaurants, tonight was a terrible experience...

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!
09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property. We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs. There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.

The welcome is always warm, and you immediately feel at ease. The menu is varied and enticing, and the service is attentive, efficient, and highly professional. Special mention goes to the cuisine: refined, seasonal, and recently enhanced by the arrival of two new chefs, who bring a wonderful touch of freshness! The outdoor setting is just as delightful, with a small pond and plenty of greenery—perfect for a romantic moment or a family outing. An address to remember without hesitation! 😎👍😉
