What a delightful surprise this restaurant was, found by our AI! A very warm welcome, dog-friendly for Alfy, in an unexpected location, and excellent food – try the shredded lamb! Top-notch service, truly, and lovely staff. We were planning to have lunch in Albi and were looking for something other than a tourist trap. We're so glad we extended our journey; the locals are thrilled! Highly recommended.

The food was very good overall, except for the profiterole: I literally had a lake of chocolate on my plate. We were also told that the dining room was air-conditioned, but unfortunately, it wasn't, with a temperature of 28°C, which was quite uncomfortable during the meal. As for the service, the first waiter was rather arrogant, unlike the second, who was very kind, helpful, and pleasant. We also noticed that the waiters weren't always very familiar with the menus. Nevertheless, I want to emphasize that, overall, the meal was good and it's a very nice place. With a few improvements to the service and comfort, the experience could be truly enjoyable.

A loyal customer for five years, I've never been disappointed by L'Ispiéns; quite the opposite, in fact: it just keeps getting better every year! It's a real gem, slightly off the beaten path, which makes it a secluded and pleasant spot. The setting is superb, with a lovely terrace where it's a pleasure to sit and relax. The welcome and service are consistently friendly; you immediately feel at ease. A small detail that speaks volumes about the restaurant: the open kitchens, impeccably clean, where you can watch the team working with care. As for the food, whether you choose fish or meat, it's simply delicious. High-quality ingredients, expertly prepared, that never disappoint. An address I wholeheartedly recommend. Go for it, you won't regret it!

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!
09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property. We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs. There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.

Brasserie le Continental

16/08/2026: A waiter with curly hair and an earring was very unpleasant and spoke rudely to the customers; a waitress even announced that they stopped serving coffee at 6 PM. I'm not quite sure what to think of this place.
12/08/2026: A pleasant, air-conditioned restaurant in a great location in the city center. The staff is really very friendly. The dining room is spacious for those who prefer to eat on the terrace. The portions are generous, and the fries have a little something extra 😉. As for the 4 stars instead of 5…it's because of the dessert. I'm well aware that mistakes happen, that an oversight can occur. But from the menu, I chose the seasonal fruit soup with almond tuile sorbet and whipped cream. I was served a strawberry soup that unfortunately wasn't fresh enough, with a scoop of sorbet. It was good, but there was no sign of whipped cream or almond tuile. When I asked, they brought me a small bowl with slivered almonds. I expressed my surprise, and the waitress replied, "That's what we serve here…" End of discussion. One piece of advice regarding this very good dessert: correct the menu. In its "bar" function, it's also very good, with a nice atmosphere and pleasant background music.
