18/01/2026: I came last night with my partner, the dishes were great, the eggs meurette were excellent and the chicken Gaston Gérard was wonderful. The welcome was great, the setting was beautiful, I'll definitely be back.

14/12/2025: During our visit to Chalon, we returned to our favorite brasserie and were able to discover and sample their new menu, undoubtedly a winter menu. It was a great success! We ordered two Burgundy set menus, including a truly homemade head cheese, recognizable by its ingredients. As a former restaurateur, I know these things don't lie. My husband had a delicious Chicken Gaston, and I enjoyed an exceptional homemade fish quenelle. Kudos to the kitchen! We even noticed it was the same team working there as we passed by on our way to the restrooms—a rare thing these days, especially when they keep their staff. And I must mention that we didn't have to wait at all, even though the restaurant was full. The only exception was the bread, which never arrived at our table despite our request, but that didn't matter since we had a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back.
