What a great find this restaurant on the banks of the Allier was! Generous and high-quality dishes, a peaceful and idyllic setting, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

The terrace was very pleasant and shaded... for most of the tables. Our table was only partially shaded, despite the staff's half-hearted attempts to add a parasol. The service varied considerably depending on the person (but to their credit, the intense heat made their working conditions particularly difficult).
However, eating amidst the smell of cigarettes 🚬 is a big NO! 😡 The restaurant's use of ashtrays on the tables encourages this practice. I will therefore not be returning.
The food is good, and there's a good selection of ice cream as well.

I 100% recommend the frog legs 🐸 excellent homemade parsley sauce, well seasoned. We had the €32 menu with frog legs, a real treat! Thank you so much, we'll be back! 👍

Two dinners over two days, with arrivals without a reservation.
The welcome, service, and quality of the food were noteworthy.
I recommend it.
Suggestion for improvement: perhaps side dishes other than fries could be offered with the main courses. For example, a vegetable stir-fry.

We just had a wonderful lunch today 🤗, a table for three.
What can I say...? Simply thank you for everything.
In an idyllic setting, under the trees, we enjoyed a truly exceptional meal. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The presentation was top-notch 👍, and the staff were attentive and very pleasant.
We will definitely be back. A truly excellent restaurant that I highly recommend.

A truly wonderful discovery! The food is absolutely excellent, with a special mention for the frog legs—absolutely delicious! 🐸😋
The service is also top-notch: warm, friendly, and attentive. And what can I say about the atmosphere, both convivial and intriguing, which makes the experience truly unique!
