Cafe de la Fontaine sur La Turbie

I had a lovely supper with my husband it that restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent🤎 We had perfectly made, medium beef fillet with ideal creamy mashed potatoes🥔🥩 Also we tried a regional dish with cabbage,meat, rice and 🍅. The dish was tasty, but it wasn’t really a new discovery for me because it reminded me of a Polish dish we call: gołąbki. Still it was good 🙂 For dessert we took chocolate foundant which was best🍫 in the world! The delicate, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate centre of the fondant caressed our palates like warm velvet🩷🤎🩷

Exceptional French cuisine produced by the most welcoming couple. Class act and the puddings are off the scale.

A friendly atmosphere and consistently delicious meals, regardless of what's on the menu (which, by the way, changes very often). I struggle to understand some of the negative reviews; I've always received excellent service. I recommend this restaurant 100%. The eggs mayonnaise are always delicious!

A historic local restaurant, once featured in the Michelin guide. Given the time of year, it was crowded, but we had a reservation, so our table was available. They placed us next to a very noisy table due to three children, and moved us to another, much quieter table. Service was a bit slow because there were so many customers and the two people in the dining room couldn't keep up. Therefore, the wait was fairly long to order and for the wine, which arrived late. Otherwise, the timing of the dishes was reasonable. It's a shame that my beef tagliata was difficult to chew, almost chewy, so I had to send it back and replace it with another dish. But that can happen. All in all, a nice place, although a bit chaotic inside. The staff is friendly, but in these situations, they need at least one other member of staff to support them.

The owner has changed, and unfortunately, it's no longer the restaurant we've frequented for years. The quality has declined, while the prices have increased. We won't be returning.

The previous review is misleading. I was there the same evening as them. The restaurant was full. Our dinner was perfect. A very good atmosphere and good food are recommended for both French and Italian diners.

Adé & Maé is a place unto itself. Mike is an exceptional chef. A family-friendly bistro atmosphere—everything we love for a great meal with friends!
