Owner and waiters Always welcoming. Fair price. Small capacity in places but for sunny days outdoor terrace. View of the Prison, the Thiou, the St Francois des Italians church, Old town, Lake and gardens nearby. I recommend

3 of us stopped to have coffee.. We were very kindly received and we were offered to sit in the dining room, being a bit senior for the counter seats. We were quickly served 2 coffees and an Irish coffee with a waffle.. The toilets were clean and available. Pleasant stop.

The small cafe faces a beautiful view of the lake and houses, with a cosy atmosphere. The food here is pretty good, nothing particularly special but still tasty. We ordered a salad, omelette, and smoked salmon sandwich with cheese. The quality of the croissant and toasted bread slices were very good, especially paired with butter and the many cheeses they offer. Overall, a good place to stop by for a light meal and a scenic view.

Serveuse dans la limite de l'arrogance, très désagréable pour un café aussi bien placé au bord du canal. Cela fais tâche !!

24/02/2024: Very good experience, very friendly staff, very good bread, brioche and extra pastries. Enough to drink coffee, tea or hot chocolate in a good atmosphere. When I am in the area again I will come back
11/02/2024: The bread is very good, as are the pastries (especially the chocolate éclair and the nut-caramel tartlet!) In addition to that, the bakery is open all day on Sunday!
