Classic French cafe. Slightly bolshy and slow but friendly service, decent food in a nice location. Enjoy it for what it is, a place to wind away some time, have a beer, a glass of wine or a coffee while watching the world go by.

15h on décide d'y prendre deux glaces il semblerait que le personnel de service n'ait pas de "rayon" attitré, ni bien l'oeil sur qui arrive le premier.... puisqu'on viendra deux fois nous voir pour la commande, et bien après d'autres arrivés après nous. affluence moyenne, à ce rythme, catastrophe assurée en plein été. Menus affichés dehors, mais "on ne sert plus", sans pour autant les rentrer (pour info : bar brasserie) glaces de facture correcte (on a mangé meilleures, mais souvent bien pires)

18/06/2024: Good brasserie for tourists in the summer, a lack of professionalism at the moment, too used to their winter comfort with their familiarity. Doesn't have the right approach at all to be able to receive tourists. But it remains a good establishment. Hello people, Here I am again walking around Amboise, this establishment has changed a lot since this winter, a friendly welcome, very modest new food but very refined. A new atmosphere, very correct, nothing to see this winter. Come and discover, you will not be disappointed.

You are not up to the task, work on your friendliness if you really like to create social connections. Thanks to the other smiling and welcoming waitresses.
