Café Glacier Idéal sur Bastia

Enjoyed a really lovely Tapas meal at Cafe Bernard, and received a super friendly welcome from Alexandra, super helpful in our tapas choices, genuinely warm and lovely, and we had such a lovely chat that added to the vibe and atmosphere. A great service. Food was delicious too. I recommend. And I love the square and location - thank you Alexandra ♥️

Curious about the tapas, and drawn in by the kindness and charm of the waitress, I tried the mussels au gratin on a bed of arugula with melted butter. They were exceptional. My partner, on the other hand, had the fried chicken bites, which we thought were the best we'd ever tasted. We didn't want to leave, so much so that I ordered the mussels a second time, as well as the spritz and prosecco... excellent. If I ever come back to Bastia, I'll go again, but please save me a little room. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the prices aren't exactly cheap, but I assure you they deserve it, we're in Corsica, not Italy...😋👍
