Cafe Gourmand sur Dijon

Had a delicious lunch. Flavorful food in a great setting. The interior also looked stunning and atmospheric. The price-quality ratio was excellent. Highly recommended!!

Sadly, they forgot me time and again, so I had two hours for three courses (the dessert was forgotten the first time). After finishing the main course, I had to wait for nearly an hour to get dessert. Other people arrived later than me and left earlier. Maybe that happens, when eating alone (but it shouldn't!). The food was okay.

A pleasant surprise, especially since I was initially hesitant, worried about being ripped off by tourists. Everything was delicious, the sea bass fillet was cooked to perfection. The chicken supreme was also very good. And the desserts were beautifully made. I'm a picky eater when it comes to desserts and I appreciate truly homemade ones; the pavlova was excellent, not too sweet, and the meringue was superb, topped with fresh, ripe fruit. The two servers were very friendly and professional. The price is quite reasonable considering the quality and the restaurant's location. We were outside, but the interior looks lovely too, with nice decor. In short, don't be as wary as I was, go for it! Thank you to the whole team.

Excellent restaurant in Dijon, very good, unpretentious cuisine, excellent value for money, attentive and personalized service. Bistronomic cuisine that's less expensive than in Paris and much better; I recommend it for all kinds of occasions.

We chose the snails and the beef bourguignon: must-tries! The servers are very welcoming and discreet; we highly recommend it!

Very satisfied with our meal at Café Gourmand, both in terms of service and food. We had a dog with us, and the waiter brought us a bowl of water and a treat for the dog without us even asking, which was very kind. We ordered the Beef Bourguignon, which was truly delicious and very tender, all accompanied by a lovely Givry wine. A very pleasant evening; I highly recommend this establishment.

We ate cream brûlée with rum and profiteroles with iceream. They were both delicious. But cream brûlée was my favorite.

​I usually strictly avoid dining in high-traffic tourist squares—they so often end up being overpriced and underwhelming traps. However, this charming spot proved to be a wonderful exception to my rule! We were so pleasantly surprised by how vibrant yet welcoming the atmosphere was, and more importantly, how genuinely reasonable the prices were for the location. ​The standout star of our meal was definitely the main fish dish—cooked to absolute perfection, flaky, delicate, and packed with clear, fresh flavors. The wine-infused pasta was equally fantastic, rich in depth and full of character that elevated the entire plate. To top it all off, the Café Gourmand was the ultimate sweet ending; the mini Crème Brûlée was velvety smooth with that perfect, satisfying crackly caramelized sugar top. ​The only minor letdown of the table was my burger, which was a bit hit-or-miss and didn't quite reach the impressive heights of the other dishes. But given how exceptional the seafood, pasta, and desserts were, it barely dampened our experience. ​If you are nearby and looking for a lovely meal without the typical tourist-trap markup, don't walk past this place. Highly recommended for the fish, the pasta, and a proper French dessert treat!

Great cafe in a great location. Staff were very kind and food came fast. The beef bourguignon was amazing and the environment was cool and relaxed. Worth it if you are walking near the area and want a quick meal.
