Excellent cafe for lunch. We stopped by and sat outside in the sun. The owner is super friendly and discussed all the menu options with us. We couldn't decide and wanted everything! We tried the gaspacho, croque, salad, oysters and apple crumble. Great service, super helpful and we would definitely eat there again if the area!

Back in the UK after a lovely Brittany trip, with great memories including our impromptu visit to Cargo Culte. A simple lunch menu (soup, sandwich and salad) provided us with very good quality ingredients and tastes. The leek and fish croque was especially fresh and delicious. Excellent for vegetarian choices, the salad included grains and a tasty, dressing and the gazpacho was light and refreshing. Thank you to the owner Yann for entertaining conversation, and surprising us with shared connections to designer glasses and a Manchester opticians.

We stumbled on this gem of a restaurant on our 2nd day in Saint Malo and what a find. Absolutely superb food, service with a real passion for what they do.

Great cafe! Incredibly delicious duck salad and gazpacho soup. Delicious cider. Shrimp risotto is also delicious, especially the shrimp. The waiter presents the menu very effectively.

Cafe Cargo Clute absolutely lives up to its Google rating. The owner was incredibly friendly and spent a good five minutes walking us through the lunch menu, sharing his personal favourites and suggesting thoughtful pairings. His passion for the café was obvious, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into curating the menu.
We had the lunch special and tried all three croques—each one was excellent. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the gazpacho was spot on for a warm, sunny day. Of course, we had to try the oysters too, which were fresh and juicy—an absolute treat. A great find in St. Malo—highly recommended!

We enter a little universe, shaded by a sail on the terrace, vinyl records to consult, enormous maps, little touches everywhere that make us want to look at everything. The smiles of the whole team, along with the good humor, make us feel truly welcome, and then the meal... Magnificent, full of colors for the eyes, and for the taste buds... Mamamia. Plus, it's really affordable, for €15 a croc - gazpacho - mixed salad menu... And then the desserts! A magnificent cheesecake that I still dream about.
In short, if you have the opportunity, go there, you will be warmly welcomed and you will eat very, very well!

Excellent! Relaxed and artistic atmosphere. Ingredients carefully selected from our beautiful regions and tastefully showcased.
