Very good, nothing to complain about

La Pergola is the casino where my wife and I first played, brought by our friends Norbert and Elisabeth, who lived on Rue de la République at the time. For a first try, it was a resounding success. Furious at having lost, I threw my last few coins into a machine. I won enough to buy my wife a superb pair of handmade red espadrilles, which she had been wanting, and I treated everyone to the restaurant "La Banquise," if I'm not mistaken, where the four of us shared a delicious and generous seafood platter. A lovely, warm welcome! Great advice and support for our first time playing slots together as a girls! Thank you 😊 We had a great laugh! The food was also excellent, and there was a good selection of wines from the Southwest. A wonderful, fun half-day with the girls.

I was delighted to receive 8 individual meals for the Joa restaurant, so I made a reservation today, Sunday, for two people, clearly stating that my meal was free. When I got to the till, what a surprise when I was told that Sunday meals aren't free (what a lack of information!). That's how you get ripped off. I paid for the meal, but if I had been informed, I would have come during the week. I'm not making a big deal out of two meals; I'm used to that. But with this review, I'm informing others, since nothing is mentioned. I'm Eliane Lefeuvre, and I sent this review with my daughter, Virginie.

Great for having fun with friends

Perfect meal and pleasant welcome.

The atmosphere and staff were very friendly, always welcoming with a smile, but the same can't be said for the machines. They were very unreliable, which is a real shame because you don't have much fun and are forced to leave. Many thanks again to the staff for their kindness. Sincerely
