When I had the first bite this place blew my mind. I love monkfish and this was cooked to perfection. Even the small things like the bread was perfect, crispy yet soft on the inside. I’ve tried a lot of good food in Paris and this may be better than them, even within Basque Country.

Two visits in four years and a wonderful memory of the sole meunière served on the terrace. This time, my appetite was satisfied by the tuna. Cooked just barely. A real treat! The service is impeccable this time of year as well.

14/04/2026: Simple, authentic, and friendly—everything you need to savor traditional Basque flavors with home-style cooking and a touch of humor from the owner, who's always ready with a joke! A great time, I highly recommend it.
14/04/2026: Very good restaurant. Only one drawback: it gets noisy quickly, but the quality of the food (several guests, several dishes, all delighted, desserts included) more than makes up for this minor drawback.

Brasserie Le Madison - FERMÉ

11/03/2026: A wonderful haven for our romantic getaway. We felt very welcome in this charming hotel. The rooms are lovely and the service outstanding.
05/03/2026: A perfect family stay in the La Rhune apartment. The apartment is of very high quality and perfectly equipped. The bedding was excellent, and there was plenty of space. The hotel is very well located, at the top of the shopping street and close to the beach. The staff is attentive and caring; a big thank you to Julien for his kindness and helpfulness.
