We only had a beer 🍺🍺 at one of the many restaurants in St. John's-de-Luz. This one caught our eye because at lunchtime it was one of the few places where you could sit and have a drink without having to eat. There was a designated area for that. Beers were €3.50.

Beautiful terrace. Efficient and charming service. Delicious, generous dishes and excellent value for money: Fish for under €25 in July in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. A must-try!

Finally, a restaurant that offers something other than nuggets on the kids' menu! My daughter was thrilled to enjoy an excellent steak with delicious fries. The other dishes on the menu are also fantastic.

15/08/2026: Breathtaking view of the beach, front row seats! We had a delicious tuna tartare for lunch! Impeccable service. We will definitely be back.
14/08/2026: We spent a completely spontaneous evening at this restaurant and were immediately welcomed by the team with great friendliness and a great sense of humor. Even though the kitchen was still closed, we were able to sit down and choose our meals at our leisure. The view over the beach is beautiful, and the team goes out of their way to accommodate everyone's language needs. The mussels and tuna tartare were delicious, and we were also lucky enough to have a Creole band playing that evening. We felt the price was very reasonable!
