We finally had the chance to try this restaurant, and it was a pleasant surprise. The food is good, and the cellar has a very nice, unique atmosphere. The service was also friendly. We had a lovely evening there, which is what really matters.

Lovely little restaurant located on the canal. Simple menu with good value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were impressed by their smiles and professionalism! The young man who looked after our table was clearly passionate about his work! The portions were very generous and delicious! We even mopped up our sauces! A great find! We highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful time at L'Escale restaurant! Our meal was excellent. All the salads are available as either a starter or a main course, and a nice touch was the dressing served separately, allowing you to adjust the amount to your liking. The service was also top-notch, with a very professional and pleasant young waiter. Highly recommended!

The restaurant's dining room is located in a former wine cellar, creating a very pleasant setting. There's also an outdoor terrace. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. They offered daily specials and a menu with a focus on Alsatian cuisine. The two Saverne salads were very well presented and, moreover, excellent. A minor drawback was the Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce): the portion was small and, above all, very runny; for €9.50, one would expect better. A superb restaurant for a pleasant meal.

18/09/2026: Excellent. A very warm welcome with a great sense of humor. The setting is rustic and very beautiful. The three courses were more than generous: Chevriflette with snails; sirloin steak rubbed with smoked salt, bacon, red cabbage confit for hours, and a potato crisp; Floating Island with baba rum and the rest— a delight. The first time, but not the last.
18/09/2026: A very pleasant surprise! Delicious dishes; it was hard to choose because the menu was so tempting. The service was impeccable, quick, and friendly. The decor was typical and tastefully chosen. We had a wonderful time.

21/09/2026: A rather disappointing evening considering the establishment's reputation and prices. The portions were quite small, especially the "brownie" dessert, which consisted of four tiny 2x2 cm squares. The burger, simply served on a stainless steel tray, also surprised us. We didn't have a menu for aperitifs, and some very similar cocktails were offered at prices that were almost double, which is surprising. On the other hand, the waitress was very pleasant and the service was friendly.
21/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at your restaurant on Sunday, my partner and I. 😊 We truly enjoyed everything: our eyes and stomachs were more than happy! 😋 Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. At first, we found the service a little rushed. On weekends, we like to take our time, savoring our meal and this special moment together. We simply mentioned this to the server, who immediately understood and adjusted the pace. We greatly appreciated his attentiveness and kindness. The lady who served us was also very friendly and smiling. In the end, a very pleasant experience, an excellent meal, and attentive service. We will gladly return! 😊 Thank you to the entire team for this lovely time. ❤️
