Le Clos de la Garenne sur Saverne

La Garenne is fantastic! During a dinner, I had the pleasure of enjoying this sublime terrace with its breathtaking view of Saverne and the surrounding area. The meal was truly delicious, with high-quality dishes from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend this place, and if you have the chance to enjoy the terrace, you won't be disappointed!

We noticed that two dishes were missing their side dish (spaetzels). It would also be better if the bill were made available to the customer a little while before payment, for verification. Thank you, but otherwise everything was perfect.

This lunchtime at La Garenne restaurant, I was treated to a truly delightful culinary experience. The dishes surprised with their inventiveness, charmed with their refinement, and delighted the palate with every bite. The wines, chosen with exceptional care, perfectly complemented the meal. And the service? Warm, attentive, almost familial. In short… an experience that makes me want to return very soon.

Lovely hotel/restaurant. We stayed one night only coming back to UK from Austria. Great blend of traditional and modern conveniences. Enjoyed the aircon in the room!!! Dinner was excellent despite a very busy restaurant- it’s clearly very popular with locals! Staff very friendly and spoke good English

A wonderful discovery during our weekend in Saverne. The dishes are generous and high-quality, and the service is impeccable. All the staff are very friendly to their customers; I highly recommend it.

The restaurant (hotel) is very pleasant, both outside with its large terrace (weather permitting) and inside. The set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) is around €30 at lunchtime and €50 in the evening. Everything is very good and beautifully presented. We also tried the Bissele tapas evening. While it's also very good (especially the tarte flambée with Italian charcuterie), each "tapas," devoured in just a few bites, still comes to €12. I'm not sure if the tapas evening is worthwhile for customers in terms of quantity/price ratio...
