For me, Achour's is "Couscous Paradise"!! It's perfect: the fine semolina, the flavorful meat... mmm, the meatballs... ahhh, the meatballs, I love them, they're delicious! The vegetables and the seasoning! Everything is there!! Truly the authentic taste of couscous we're looking for 👌 Plus, it's served by the owner who is always smiling, welcoming, and friendly! You can feel his passion, and it runs in the family! We've been going there for 35 years! Pure pleasure! Thank you to the whole team and a big shout-out to the mom who cooks! 👍👍

Excellent restaurant! The couscous is simply delicious: generously filled, bursting with flavor, and prepared with care. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the expertise. The owner is just fantastic: very pleasant, incredibly sociable, and always smiling. A warm and welcoming restaurant, excellent cuisine, and a great atmosphere. I recommend it 100% and I will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this excellent restaurant! The couscous is delicious and plentiful, and the servers and owner are incredibly kind to their customers—you don't often see that in other restaurants in Besançon. My only recommendation is to rush to this fantastic restaurant! 😊🤩👍

Having only lived in Besançon for two months, we were recommended this place. What a wonderful discovery! Excellent food, a fantastic owner who is completely dedicated, and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

We went there once in July with my partner; we were very well received and had a great meal. We went again in October with my partner and my father. And that brings me to yesterday, when we tried the takeout option. First of all, they gave us a very clear explanation on the phone about how to pick up our order. They offered us a couscous pot if we didn't have our own, in exchange for a deposit check (which was normal and understandable). But I was able to have all my friends try the couscous for one of their birthdays, and it was a resounding success. Thank you to the whole team; I will recommend your restaurant to everyone.

The menu changes daily, making each visit unique and always enjoyable. You can feel a real commitment to offering fresh, homemade, and creative dishes. Special mention to the team: they knew what we were drinking before we even arrived and quickly remembered our names. This kind of attention to detail makes all the difference and makes you feel like a regular, welcomed like a friend. And a huge congratulations to the chef, whose work shines through in every dish: perfectly cooked, balanced flavors, meticulous presentation… a true pleasure every time. A place we happily return to and wholeheartedly recommend. 👌
22/01/2026: A real gem of a discovery during a business lunch today. Delicious flavors from appetizer to dessert. The portions were very generous and beautifully presented. A feast for the eyes as well. You get the feeling that cooking is a passion, and this is confirmed when you talk with the chef. Thank you. I will definitely be back. A little tip: remember to make a reservation.
