Having just arrived in St Jean de Monts, we made a reservation by phone. We received a very warm welcome. The Breton-style curried mussels were excellent. The beef fillet was very good and very tender, cooked exactly as requested. I highly recommend it.

Good food, service a little too fast for our liking, no time to finish our aperitif, and course after course. Otherwise, the young waiter was very friendly, but a little less so the manager, a shame, "a smile doesn't cost anything".

Hotel-Restaurant l'Espadon

29/03/2026: We had wonderful nights there, nothing to complain about – comfortable beds and a warm welcome. The breakfast was very generous and gourmet. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which offered excellent cuisine. A huge thank you to the owner and the team at L'Espadon.
14/03/2026: A little disappointed. We hadn't finished our aperitif, the starters had already arrived, the fish was boney and lukewarm, the meat was slightly tough, and the fries were a bit overcooked. For dessert, two of us chose the chocolate mousse, which was very average and runny. It's a shame because we were regulars. But these comments are just for future improvement. Sincerely. It just needs to be said politely. Thank you.

21/02/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant where, for a few hours, you're transported to an exotic atmosphere. The welcome, the food, the service...everything is perfect.
