A truly excellent restaurant! We had a delightful and delicious meal, and the service was perfect. The manager explained the dishes very well. We chose the €29.90 set menu, and everything was delicious 😋 truly refined and expertly prepared cuisine. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness.

Excellent cuisine with quality ingredients. Superb fish, homemade children's menu (real chicken!), and delicious salmon pasta. Top-notch staff, nothing to complain about. We'll be back!

As a regular customer, I find this one of the few restaurants open year-round, which is a real treat. The food is delicious, especially the Thai mussels and fries, with generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and inviting thanks to the decor and paintings. I highly recommend it 😊

Having just arrived in St Jean de Monts, we made a reservation by phone. We received a very warm welcome. The Breton-style curried mussels were excellent. The beef fillet was very good and very tender, cooked exactly as requested. I highly recommend it.

31/10/2025: Friendly and professional staff, clean establishment, good food overall, but one major drawback: the galette wasn't homemade and was cold, a real shame for a crêperie. Disappointed.
13/10/2025: Very friendly restaurant, with pleasant and welcoming staff. The only slight hiccup: our order was forgotten. There were a lot of people there, so this can happen and it's not a big deal. On the other hand, it would have been appreciated if the waitress had acknowledged it rather than pretending that everything was fine. That said, the atmosphere was still pleasant and we still had a good time.

08/03/2026: For the past few months, we've enjoyed coming to Le Comptoir for a drink. The atmosphere, decor, and staff are pleasant. However, we'd like to inform you that the inside handle of the restroom door has been missing for several months. Also, yesterday in the late afternoon, there was no more paper towel. It's little things like this that make the difference between one establishment and another. You're either professional or you're not! Sincerely.
25/02/2026: A short break to enjoy a sunny day with a beer and a charcuterie/cheese platter – a wonderful moment with a sea view. Enjoy!
