Fantastic experience. We had dinner there on the evening of the eclipse. The staff was pleasant, the service efficient, and the food superb. We were pleasantly surprised by the foie gras crème brûlée as a starter! A big thank you to you!

While on vacation in Saint Jean de Monts, we came to eat as a family. We all had a wonderful time. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The flavors, the presentation of the dishes—everything was perfect. I highly recommend Chez Bastien! 🤩

Great brasserie! Welcoming and friendly service, well-prepared and generous portions. Excellent value for money. A place where you can eat well in a convivial atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return.

We've been several times and are always satisfied! Excellent value for money and consistently pleasant service, season after season. A great place close to the beaches, but be sure to book in advance!

Excellent restaurant. Impeccable service. Pleasantly surprised by the foie gras crème brûlée (delicious!), the rest of the meal was just as good. I highly recommend this place; in fact, we went back the next day.

Dinner for 3 (2 adults + 1 child). Despite the crowd and our lack of a reservation, the waiter was responsive and immediately seated us on the terrace. The seafood platter was incredible, the sea bass fillet delicious, and my son's pasta carbonara was also very good. The service was quick, with staff who were always smiling and very professional. If we return to Saint Jean de Monts, we will definitely go back! 👍

Upon arrival, we were seated outside in the blazing sun at a table for two. The waiter kindly offered to move our table inside. Very nice of him. The meal was excellent, served with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant.

15/08/2026: We had a lovely lunch today with our son. The menu was great, with excellent value for money. 😊 The children's menu was also fantastic! Special mention goes to the fact that they offered fish as a children's option; it's really appreciated and quite rare, so it deserves to be highlighted. 🐟 We'll definitely be back! 😊

Baracoa Restaurant

02/07/2026: As always, for years, we go there whenever we're in the area. And we invite friends who are all unanimous in their praise. The setting is lovely, especially on the terrace, and the food is delicious. A restaurant perfect for friends or a romantic dinner 😻 We'll be back! Jacques and Anne-Marie
28/06/2026: A more mixed experience than before after returning to Baracoa. The starters were good in terms of flavor, however, my squid was overcooked and therefore no longer tender. The main courses were decent, but the pork lacked international flavor. The meat jus was well executed, however, we expected more originality in the recipe given the restaurant's focus. Overall, considering the prices, we found the portions far too small: the squid was very light, and the side dishes were meager, especially the tiny cube of polenta with the pork. It's a shame when you leave with a bill of almost €80 for two without having ordered dessert (including drinks). One small but significant point: the terrace really needs some background music!
