Between the cassoulet (absolutely divine) and the frozen cassoulet for dessert (nougat ice cream), David, you truly spoiled us! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Castelnaudary. I highly recommend it.

Passing through town, we had a rental 50 meters away and didn't feel like using the car. What an excellent idea! We had a wonderful meal!! We tried the mussels as a starter (which were very good) and the tuna steak cooked to order was delicious!! The profiteroles for dessert were decadent and perfect. I highly recommend it!! We'll have to come back to try the cassoulet!!

For the Cassoulet Festival in Castelnaudary, we went to try my favorite dish, Chez David, which had been recommended to us.

I was told it was the best cassoulet in town. And it far exceeded expectations. A real treat. The service is friendly. As they bring your dish, they explain the secrets of the recipe. Six hours of cooking! Honestly, if you come to Castelnaudary, don't miss the chance to visit this little restaurant. You really won't be disappointed.

We ate a spectacular cassoulete, a salad and a special and delicious crema catalana. The food was excellent, but the friendliness of the waiter should improve. When it came time to pay, we spoke to the chef, and he was very pleasant.

The welcome and service were top-notch! Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal, with a special mention for the cassoulet… absolutely divine! 😍 Guéna, the waiter, took the time to tell us about its preparation (simmered for 6 hours) and to discuss the high-quality ingredients used. David, the chef, is just as welcoming and passionate.

We stumbled upon this place after a 150km bike ride from Béziers, and what a pleasant surprise! The cassoulet was truly excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. An incredible establishment in Carcassonne, a wonderful discovery.
