Very warm welcome, fast service and excellent, caring staff

We came as a couple and shared the best tapas in the region! The atmosphere was like being in the countryside, and the service was incredibly friendly and top-notch! I highly recommend it!

We came in December, a group of five. We received a very warm welcome. We had tapas which were excellent. I had a special event to announce to my friends. The owner kindly agreed to let me bring my own bottle of champagne. Of course, I had committed to ordering alcohol and meals. He told me he wouldn't charge a corkage fee on the bottle, whereas another restaurant in Gaillac was asking for a €20 corkage fee for the same bottle, even though I told him we would be ordering other alcoholic drinks and meals. So, thank you to the owner of Chez Germaine for his generosity. And congratulations on the warm welcome and the quality of the food.

What a pleasant surprise to come home to – it's simply a lovely restaurant. We came one evening, received a very warm welcome from the manager, and the menu was simple (though there was still a good selection) and well-executed.

"Chez Germaine" lives up to all its promises… A beautiful setting in a vaulted brick cellar, a very warm welcome from the team who will take excellent care of you throughout your visit… generous portions of food, tapas to share or not 😉, and quality products… an address to remember in the Gaillac region
