A very warm welcome despite our late arrival at 1:45 pm, good local cuisine, a very pleasant time 😏

A very pleasant experience in this welcoming restaurant on the village square, run by two friendly and attentive owners. It has a real "homey" atmosphere with its wooden tables and a menu of generous and varied dishes, including some Basque specialties. Good value for money, not to mention the homemade fries. "The meat is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth, sourced from a local Basque butcher," one of the owners told me. The service is efficient and courteous, allowing you to take the time to experience the rhythm of the region and exchange tips for exploring the Basque Country. We'll definitely be back for another delicious meal and this quintessential Basque experience.

Excellent welcome, high quality food, in short, highly recommended

We went for dinner and loved it. We ordered Camembert, Basque pâté, and meat, and everything was delicious. Plus, the waiter is incredibly friendly and speaks Spanish perfectly. It's definitely worth it!

For a tapas aperitif or a good txuleta, a must-do in Ascain. Top-notch service.

The waitress was very kind and cheerful! The dessert menu was a dream come true; I was eagerly awaiting my brioche à la paint perdue! ... Which turned out to be just a simple brioche. The quality of the products isn't great, and the person who took my payment didn't speak to me. Too bad.

Restaurant close to hotels, easy to find for lunch or dinner. The menu is simple, the products fresh and well-cooked. Very good value for money
