Hotel restaurant du pont ascain sur Ascain

It's very good, I'll come back on my next visit.

I stayed just one night off peak. Nice view of the river and mountains beyond. It's a 2 star hotel so extensive amenities are not to be expected - the essentials are all there (plus a few helpful extras). Location on the main road (but traffic could barely be heard). Plenty of off road parking. Highlight was the friendly and helpful staff. Top tip is to book directly for the best price - by far (I did it when I arrived... note that the Reception closes for the evening). Buffet breakfast was fine for the price.

Unbeatable value for money but you shouldn't look in the corners.....

Great hotel and above all a great welcome and a comfortable room and impeccable hygiene, advice to go there and the hotel is secure and the unlimited sweet and savory breakfast is a treat

We have just spent 3 nights in the Hotel du Pont and I admit that I was stressed after reading certain reviews but what a surprise, warm and smiling welcome Very pleasant room with impeccable bedding and I am very surprised to see that our shower towels were were changed every day which unfortunately is not the case for many hotels I highly recommend them for their kindness and in addition very generous breakfast Very good value for money

Room a little expensive by the port with the garden side view is not a garden but a plot of land under construction so 10 euros extra does not seem fair to me
