The staff were very friendly and attentive. They speak Spanish and Basque, and the food was plentiful and delicious. The prices seemed reasonable. A great choice.

If there were six stars, I would have given it six. We had a fantastic time! The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! The value for money is excellent! I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

After being turned away at 1:15 pm at another restaurant, we stumbled upon this one by chance, and we're so glad we did. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Homemade food with good ingredients. Fast service and very reasonable prices. I recommend this restaurant.

We stumbled upon this establishment and were charmed by the food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the location shaded by plane trees. We have nothing more to add; we highly recommend it for a Basque-style meal.

Very attentive staff, they served us in Spanish as soon as they realized. The food was delicious and homemade. Highly recommended if you're visiting the beautiful town of Azkain.

Please note: the restaurant closes at 2 PM. We arrived at 1:50 PM, and they were incredibly friendly in welcoming us despite our late arrival! We ordered a vegetarian burger, which was simple yet original and, above all, delicious! The interior and restroom decor is also great, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Askain!

04/09/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant; the quality of the food and the ingredients used was simply perfect. The staff and the chef, who is also the owner, were incredibly welcoming. Thank you again for a lovely experience! I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in Ascain.
03/09/2026: A very nice establishment. The service was efficient and the advice helpful. And finally, the quality of the food. For me, it was perfect. Very generous portions and excellent quality. I recommend the mixed fish platter and the pork tomahawk steak.

Hotel restaurant du pont ascain

27/06/2026: We chose this hotel because it's pet-friendly. We had our cat and dog with us and everything went smoothly. There's a green space for dogs to run around in. Breakfast is decent and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated (the bathroom door doesn't close properly, the finish isn't great, and we could hear other guests a little). But honestly, it's good value for money. We were very happy for ourselves and our pets.
23/06/2026: Good price, 60 euros. Not far from Handaye beaches. Comfortable hotel, air-conditioned, and with free private parking. Good buffet breakfast but a bit pricey at 12 euros, especially if you have a light lunch...
